Riverside Park South

Located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, scenic Riverside Park occupies a 4-mile strip between the Hudson River and Riverside Drive.   Numerous monuments in the park include the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at 89th Street, the Joan of Arc Statue at 93rd Street, and the monument to Eleanor Roosevelt at 72nd Street.  The park provides numerous recreational opportunities that include tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and skating.  There is also a marina at 79th Street and kayak launch at 148th Street. 

Bring your camera for great views up and down the Hudson from the new 600-foot pier on Riverside Blvd.
