High Bridge: Water Tower

Built in 1872, it was once a water pressure equalizing structure, this romantic Neo-Gothic tower looks out upon the Harlem River. Climb its winding iron staircase to enjoy the panoramic vistas of upper Manhattan and the lower Bronx.
